CLICK THE ADS

This blog is going to be short and sweet, I have been quite busy driving traffic to the blog lately and that has taken up most of my time.  As you can see tadays title is click the ads.  In the past week the ads have rarely been clicked.  This is the number one source of getting other people to the blog.  The blog so far has already passed Septembers page views and I wanna reach three thousand as soon as possible.  You can help out this blog by clicking on the ads and telling the people you know.  The ads are not the YouTube videos they are the ones located right under the text that says support are sponsors.  The blog has hit a bit of a slump but it has been worse.  So I am going to try and set a goal for today, and get the most ad clicks and page views and comments the blog has ever got.  This would be easy to achieve if everyone posts the blog on facebook and tells everyone they know to come check it out.  I know that we can do this and we have the whole day to achieve it.  So for tadays topic I figured it would have to be something easy but nice to look at.  It is going to be just like NFL Pick Em only you have two choices ta pick from.  The Jets have been in the news lately for harassing sideline reporter Inez Sainz.  And Favre has been in the news for sexting Jenn Sterger.  So its your job to say which one you think is HOTTER.  So good luck and lets get some traffic rolling in.   (Inez Sainz is blonde on right  Jenn Sterger is brunette on left)

Shame on you Brett Favre

Alright I am back from vacation and its time to get the blog up and running again.  Going with a new look and some new features.  Ok lets start tadays blog up.  Don't worry the title is about Favre but I wont spend the entire time talking about this (its more of an excuse ta have a pic of a pretty lady).  Ok so Brett Favre apparently sent some naughty messages to this Jen Sterger and a couple of photos of his manhood.  Sterger could sue the Jets if she went through all the right legal stages when the incident occurred.  If the Jets organization gets in trouble for this, Favre will miss some games on a suspension.  So were saying if Favre gets in trouble for this so long precious consecutive game record.  Not to mention this guy has a family, he is a grandpa.  I never thought of Favre as the Tiger Woods type of guy but this could turn into that type of scandal.  I heard a rumor of a two more women that were involved with Favre, two massage specialists from the Jets organization.  With the exposure that Sterger is getting, don't be surprised for a lot of women to start coming out, real ones or fake ones.  Ok enough about ole Brett.  Lets get to this past weekend in the NFL.  The Saints and Packers but another surprising loss in the column.  What does it say about these two teams.  Well its simple there not the same teams as last year.  In week 5 they had some injuries but maybe not enough to really cause a problem.  Moving forward from hear I think the Saints will have the easiest time bouncing back, unlike the Packers who have a ton of injuries to battle with.  The Pack has the Fins coming up who have proven to be real tough, and the Saints have the Bucs who also have shown a lot of improvement from last year.  I would like to congratulate the Lions on there first win of the year.  I talked down about these team in previous blogs but they looked really good this week.  I mean if it was a close game and they won it would be different but they just demolished this team.  The Raiders also got there first win of the season in even more impressive fashion by beating the Chargers.  This division is so whacked out this year I cant say that anyone is the clear favorite.  The Texans lose again and I can take them off of my top four teams in the NFL.  That offense is to hot or cold.  I still think there a great team but unpredictable teams are too risky.  Now on to the Minnesota Vikings.  They lose for the 3rd time this year to the Jets and fall to 1-3.  The first half was terrible and I actually almost turned it off.  The second half however was really great ta watch.  It was classic Favre right down to the final interception.  This game had all the makings of a great comeback, and everyone saw that Favre can still make the passes.  He threw a lot of deep balls ta Moss that didn't make it.  You have ta admit though he had three days with the team and had to go against the toughest D in the NFL.  Favre threw the pick ta end the game, but is anyone really surprised that happened.  So if I had to say what I think the Vikings would do this year after watching that game, I would say watch out they could bounce back.  But then if I took a look at there upcoming schedule I would take it back.  The Vikes are a good team but they are 1-3 and have tough games ahead of them with the Cowboys, Pats, Bears, Packers twice.  But if they can get a couple wins in the next stretch who knows what could happen.  Ok that's it for tadays blog, make sure to leave your comments below.  Also click on the ads on the right the numbers have really dropped and its because no clicks have been going on so click away its not spam.

Vikings

I will be on vacation this weekend and unsure if i will be able to do the blog.  So throughout the weekend the blog can be used as a discussion board for any topic anyone really wants to start up.  But the topic that I would like to talk about taday is the Minnesota Vikings.  Yesterdays blog was under some scrutiny.  Apparently sharing your thoughts and opinions on how you feel about a team can really stir up a controversy.  But isn't this what it is all about, people sharing their opinions, having other people disagree and share theirs.  So let me share my opinion on the Vikings.  As we all know they just picked up Randy Moss.  Moss is way behind his usually stats already this year only having 139 receiving yards through four games.  Brett Favre has a QB rating of 60.4 and has already thrown six picks this year.  On a good note they have AP who is averaging 5.6 yards a carry with three touchdowns.  Yes getting Randy Moss will help the team, he would help any team he got put on.  Yes this makes them look like they can compete within the division now.  But no this does not make them the best team in the NFC.  And due to the claims of me being bias I will say right now that the Saints do not look like the best team in the NFC either.  Yesterdays blog was simply a look at North vs South.  And if you have any factual proof that you can show me that you believe the Saints would lose to any team in the NFC North division please put it below.  As I had stated before I will be on vacation for the weekend.  I am leaving the blog to you the readers to take care of.  As usual you can do the NFL pick em on Saturday.  And stir up any comments about anything that you want to below.  Please click on the ads the numbers are still way down on ad clicks.  I hope to see record numbers when I return, thank you.-------------Mikey C

NFC South vs NFC North

Alright due to the lack of traffic and comments on the last couple of blogs I figured I would go for the sure thing.  And it looks like the readers like the NFC North, and the writer likes himself some NFC South.  So in this blog I am going to go through each team and say who would win and who would lose.  Its going to be short and sweet, I am more excited to see the comments.  So lets start out with the easy one.  The New Orleans Saints.  Not much of a shocker here I am going to say no one in the NFC North can beat them.  The Vikes couldn't so I don't perceive any other team standing a chance.  Next the Atlanta Falcons.  I am give them a win against the Lions, Bears, and Packers.  I think the Vikes could actually beat this team, the Packers don't play fool proof football so I give them the loss.  You might be thinking that "hey the falcons beat the saints but why cant they beat the Vikes" well the Saints had injuries on defense and offense, and we wont be missing any 34 yard field goals any more.  Next up is the Tampa Bay Bucs.  I have them winning two games in the North.  They beat the Bears and the Lions.  The Bears game would be really close but unless they can come up with an offense that isn't so risky their not going to win any close ones.  The Vikes and Packers wouldn't have a problem with the Bucs.  The Pack gave them there first win last year but I don't perceive that happening again (unless they have the creamsicle jerseys on HA).  And the last team the Carolina Panthers, well north I am going ta give you this one.  I have them getting beat by all of the teams except one.  The Lions, I know that Detroit looks a lot better and they have a good team but not good enough.  Once Jimmy C gets the jitters out he can win a game or two.  So lets recap here.  I give the NFC South 10 games out of a possible 16.  Its hard ta argue those games(but I hope you do).  The South is miles up on the North.  Alright I didn't lie when I said it was going to be short and sweet.  I want to see record breaking page views and comments.  Tell everyone you know and share the link on your facebook profile or any other social networking site you have.  And please click on the ads the ad numbers have gone down and the blog really needs some outside traffic brought in.  <><>NFC NORTH vs NFC SOUTH<><> How do you stack them up.---------Mikey C

Moss Back In Minnesota

Well its official Randy Moss is once again a Minnesota Viking.  The New England Patriots will trade him for a third round pick.  The Pats new that they were not going to have him for another year due to his contract coming to an end, and the Pats were not going to pay him anything high.  So Moss goes back to where he was drafted.  What does this do for everything.  Does it make the Vikings a better team, how about Superbowl contenders, will Favre want to back another year now?  The Vikings will be a better team I mean Moss is one of the best wide outs to ever play the game.  The scary thing is that Favre and Moss go together great.  Moss has height and hands ta go up and catch those deep passes that Brett enjoys throwing.  And with the lack of receivers healthy right now Moss knows he is going to have passes coming to him all game long.  What does this do ta the NFC North now.  A few blogs ago I had put the Vikings at third in that division.  You can say that this is a long shot but I am shooting the Vikings straight to number one in this division.  Its not because I think Randy Moss is going to single handily going to score six touchdowns a game, not saying that at all.  The thing you have to realize is the effect that this trade will have on the teams moral.  Getting a big play maker on your offense like Randy Moss spikes confidence in how you play football.  And the number one guy on this team that needs confidence is Favre.  Favre hasn't even looked like he wants to play football the last three games.  But I bet coming off a bye week and finding out that you get Randy Moss ta throw to will make you the happiest man in the world.  The Vikings missed on Vincent Jackson earlier this year but wow they struck gold with Moss.  They get him for a third round pick.  This is the part I disagree with.  Your telling me an unproven third round rookie is the same worth as Moss.  You have to be crazy.  I know Moss is old but he will play for at least two more years most likely more.  I can not wait to see who the Pats draft in the third round off this pick.  Finally you have to think about the Pats, how will they do losing Moss.  One word "FINE", I mean ya they will miss him but look at the stat book.  Moss doesn't have anything yet this year.  Brady is the Key in New England and he will make great receivers out of average receivers.  Well I am going to cut this short I am more excited to start to hear about your opinions.  So leave your comments, and please click on the ads on the right we didn't drive to much outside traffic yesterday and there were really not many clicks on ads.  AND TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW.-----------Mikey C

Week 4 Recap

Alright its Tuesday and the blog is back.  First of all a congrats goes ta a_schetter for picking 11 out of 14 games correct.  Now where ta start on this eye opening week four.  There are six games that really need to be talked about.  The first game is the Ravens beating the unbeaten Steelers.  This comes as no surprise to me but to the football world it shows that the Steelers defense can be beat.  Now you can be skeptical and say yes Big Ben was not in the game yet, and I agree he would make the team better.  But the scary thing about the Steelers is there defense.  And this game showed that you can make good schemes and beat them.  Even if they had Ben would the Steelers be able to score more than two touchdowns?  I don't think so this match up is always a low scorer and I believe the Ravens would have won this game regardless.  My next game to talk about is the Green Bay vs Detroit match up.  The Packers for the second game this season have shown that they have a problem finishing football games.  When you are up that big you cant just coast through the rest of the game.  Future opponents are going to realize this and capitalize on it.  The Lions finally started to utilize Johnson.  They should have thrown to him even more after he showed how easy it is to just let him jump up and catch it over Green Bay's short DB's.  Green Bay got a gift playing bad football against a terrible team.  And this is the second game in a row where they haven't looked great at all.  They need to step it up from here on out if they want to make it to the playoffs.  The third game is New Orleans vs Carolina.  The Carolina Panthers are easily one of the worst teams in the NFL this year due to the lack of talent in the QB region.  The Saints had the chance to blow this game away but injuries to Thomas and Bush really hurt them.  Also turning the ball over after great drives just killed this offense.  I believe the Saints will be able to salvage this team but they have to turn it on now.  Just a year ago no one could stop this offense and this year Drew Brees just isn't producing.  If the Saints don't step it up the NFC South will be wide open.  The fourth game is St. Louis and Seattle Seahawks.  For this game I have one name to state Sam Bradford.  I thought after last week he may have just got lucky and had a great game.  But after crushing the Seahawks this QB looks like he might be the real deal.  Steven Jackson wasn't really to much of a factor but the passing game really looked great.  The Seahawks looked tough the first couple weeks but the big season opener when they beat the 49ers isn't really that big of a deal anymore.  We have seen that San Fran just isn't really that good this year.  Watch out for the Rams they might have a bounce back year.  My fifth game is Jacksonville and Indianapolis.  The Jags played a great game and beat the Superbowl runner up.  This is the second loss for the Colts now and they don't look like the unstoppable team that they were last year.  I still believe that the Colts are a great team and teams need to watch out for them,  but are they going to return to the Superbowl, I think not.  The final game I want to talk about is the New York Giants and the Chicago Bears.  Wow Chicago just WOW.  Could you have worse blitz protection.  The Giants had nine sacks in the first half and took out two QB's.  I still think the Giants are a bad team and Eli is a bad QB.  The reason they won is that the Bears are a worse team.  And the Bears were the top team in the NFC North.  Could this being saying something???  I think so this proves my point that the NFC North is not a top division like they may have been last year.  Alright now its your turn to leave your comments and opinions.  Make sure to keep clicking on the ads on the right to drive more traffic to the site, we hit a bit of a slump but that usually happens on the weekend so lets kick of this week strong and get a lot of comments and page views tell everyone you know!!!!!

The AFC East

Alright the votes are in and the AFC East is the topic for Friday's discussion.  In this division you have the Patriots, Dolphins, Bills, and Jets.  Aside from the Bills this is a really tough division and should be feared around the league.  So lets take a look team by team.  In 4th place in this division I am going to put the Buffalo Bills.  This should come as no surprise ha.  It almost sad for this team to be placed in this division because things don't look like there going to change.  Edwards who was supposed to be the starting after being the best man on the team is no longer good enough to even be on the team.  Fitzpatrick is no where near good enough to really change anything for the Bills.  CJ Spiller finally showcased his talent last week by returning a long kickoff.  But Spiller looks like he might need a season or too before he reaches his full potential.  Which should be fine for the Bills considering they have Lynch and Jackson.  I have the Bills going below .500, how bad will it be?  I am not really sure but it will be bad.  Now it gets tough all the remaining teams currently have the same record and have all proven to be pretty good this year.  But if you look carefully you can really see who best team truly is.  So in 3rd place are the Miami Dolphins.  Third place usually doesn't seem to be a good idea but in this division it means your pretty good.  Since Bill Parcels has arrived he started changing the way the Dolphins play football.  And apparently it worked the past couple seasons Miami has done a 180 in the right direction.  They have a solid offense with Henne, Brown, and Marshall.  And there defense can not be overlooked.  They did suffer there first loss last week to divisional opponent New York Jets, but they really looked good considering the defense.  I have the Dolphins going 10-6 but possibly missing the playoffs due to such a tough division.  The second best team is the New England Patriots.  The Pats came out shooting against the Bengals and made it look like the ole Tom Brady was back.  And then they face the New York Jets in week two and the offense just couldn't compete with the elite defense.  But the Patriots in the long run will be fine.  I mean they only have to play the Jets once more in the regular season.  Tom Brady is still an amazing QB and the rest of the offense looks great.  Randy Moss is still a great deep threat and Wes Welker is still the work horse for this team.  The D looks to have a couple of wholes but all around are pretty solid.  I am going to put the Patriots at 11-5, and making the playoffs(this time 11-5 will be enough ha).  Now the first team in the division the New York Jets.  If you would have asked me to rank this division pre-regular season I would have had the Jets two or maybe even three.  But games don't lie and the Jets have had some great games.  Week one it was a offensive struggle for both teams and they lose 10-9 but really the Jets had plenty of opportunities to win that game.  Now here is the great part the Jets beat the Pats 28-14 and beat the Dolphins 31-23.  So the Jets have beaten the number 2 and 3 teams in there division and I am not too worried about them beating the Bills.  Its all about that D-Fense and how Rex puts in those blitz's and coverages.  It really is a work of art to watch how he calls the defensive plays.  Reevis might miss this week but they get lucky with having to play the Bills.  Now to the offensive side they have a great two running back run game with Greene and Tomilson.  Sanchez can be a great QB he still needs a couple of years but hey the D and the run game seem to be working fine for New York so they don't need a elite QB like the rest of the league.  I have a 12-4 finish for this team and will be interesting to see how they do in the playoffs.  This division is tough I mean really tough.  Could this be the toughest division in the AFC? or the NFL?  Now it's your turn to leave your comments, thanks for another great day yesterday but we can do better, make sure to spread the word about the blog.  Also keep clicking on those ads on the right side of the web page and click the wikio button. *****You can get to the wikio button by getting back to the homepage and right underneath each blog on the left is a wikio button click them for each blog it gives me votes which also helps traffic-------------Mikey C
